Done and done!

It’s done.

Once again…. It’s done!!!!

My report is done! I really can’t believe it is done!
Well it’s not done. It’s almost done. I need to get the name of my moderator from my supervisor and some info on where to place their names in the report. But once they are in it it is complete. But for now, cos those pages are in the title pages I can get to printing. I think I am gonna need to get some more paper and ink to get it all printed.

Whooo!!!

This is John Orme Reporting…

I’m still working on my final year report. I have 30 pages done of 40-60 pages… 4 sections of 6 sections and some appendices… And my personal deadline is tomorrow…

The actual deadline isn’t until Monday, but I really don’t want to spend the weekend with it hanging over my head. Also I plan to start revising for my exams on Monday and it’d be nice to have the weekend free and not under the weight of having to finish my project, but we will see how it goes.
My project supervisor, who also happens to be my course supervisor, was asking me what I had planned to do when I finish my degree with some comments about post graduate research. I told him about my plans to go to Japan and he said that when I return, if I was interested I should get in touch regarding post graduate work. Which was nice. I mean it’s always good to have options, right? And 3D computer graphics is a pretty darn cool thing to be playing with…

So yeah, on with the project, the mindless net surfing when I get fed up and the TV/Radio on in the corner to keep the mindless noise levels up a little bit.

They’re not all locked up yet…

Crazy people…

Project presentation

Tomorrow is the day of my final year project presentation and demonstration… I hope I’m on top form for it!

I was up most of last night bent double over the porcelain pot :( But i woke this morning feeling about 75% better, which is good! But I ended up missing football tonight, which was a shame and I haven’t eaten too much today.

So yeah, presentation tomorrow. I fished around the net for a few hours finding nice professional stereoscopic images to demonstrate my project with, found some screen shots from IMAX movies and a couple from stereo computer games, so the demo should give good results.
I am most worried about the impromptu questions as it is so long since I coded the app that I don’t remember how I did half of it… and I haven’t got to the stage of working it all out yet.

But yeah, winging it is always good, and there really isn’t that much to my project, I just hope that they don’t ask me for its practical uses… I haven’t thought of any yet!

Then tomorrow night I’m being interviewed by the missionary and student committee at 1st. That should be fun, a X on 1 interview! Although I just got 2 DVDs from mel in the mail of our time in Tokyo last summer, so I’m all hyped up for it again!

So big day tomorrow… Then project hand in date is friday! So got two full days then Friday morning to get it all printed and bound ready for hand in…

Not so good…

This morning I woke feeling a little iffy. I went to church and felt worse…

I don’t know if it is something I ate at pauls barbecue last night or if its a reaction to the MMR jab I got on thursday. The nurse said that I would probably not feel so good for a few days after it…
But yeah, I don’t feel good! I haven’t eaten anything today, I don’t feel hungry and I feel like anything i put down there will come back in a matter of minutes.

And in half an hour I have to go take part in a youth service. I would like to just stay in bed, but I’m being interviewed about my time away next summer and it will be a good chance to let the congregation know what I am doing etc…

So please, if you are reading this and thinking “poor wee Ormo…” pray for me to feel better for it! :)
