Schedule…

I have been thinking about all the things I have on at the moment and coming up…

Right now I am studying for exams which are beginning next Monday (23rd May). I’m not looking forward to them, but I am really looking forward to getting them over and done with! My first is artificial intelligence, it sounds complicated and it is kinda complicated… I’m really not looking forward to this one. I missed a few of the lectures through the year, but all the notes are online so its not so bad.
Next is computer architecture. It shouldn’t be quite so bad, but the problem is as it was a 9am lecture on wednesdays I have missed a few here and there. Now Dr Ferguson, great project supervisor as he is, doesn’t put his notes online. So I don’t have them. My friend holly has offered to lend me or send me ones that I missed, my problem is I’m not sure which ones I have missed!
Then comes image processing. It should be fine, it is fairly easy content to take in and there isn’t that much of it. So should be ok, I already have a good handle on it from the coursework.

But then, and this is the fun bit, after my exams I am FREE! And I’m going to make the most of it

First up myself and a few other guys from FAYC plan to take a canoing trip from Antrim to Portrush. We’ll start at the lough shore in Antrim and head down the Bann to Portrush. Should take about 2 sleeps and promises to be awesome craic. Assuming it happens.

Then on the 7th June there is the Chinese Banquet fundraiser for FAYC marking the beginnings of a two year campaign to raise funds to buy a minibus. Anyone out there thinking “That’s a worthwhile cause, count me in!” just drop me a line! A fantastic full out banquet of Chinese food for only £20! And its a great cause!

Then on the 9th June there is a Third Day concert on in belfast which a friend has asked me if I wanna go to. I am at two minds as I’ll have a bit on that week. But I need to let her know soon… Should I go?

Then on the 11th I am heading to Canada! To Toronto! The T.Dot (so I’ve been told) to visit Mel and Kev from the team I was on last summer. It is gonna be an awesome trip, I can’t wait to see the guys and catch up!

Beyond the Canada experience comes graduation, camp, OMF candidates course and then…. On or around the 15th of August 2005 I will be heading to Japan to spend a year there as a short term missionary with OMF!

What a time I have ahead!
